ISGPAC

Who we are:

The Illinois Soybean Growers Political Action Committee (ISGPAC) is an important part of ISG’s efforts to advance causes that are important to you and Illinois soybean farmers.

The (ISGPAC) is your opportunity to ensure that Illinois soybean farmers’ voices across the state are heard. Your support enables ISG to share your voice with politicians and interest groups that seek to shift the future of farm policy and determine what happens on your and your friends’ farms.

Through the ISGPAC, you can make campaign contributions that support legislators who take a leadership role on soybean farmers’ priorities and policies.

Advocate.

We advocate for issues that directly affect and impact soybean farmers’ ability to be profitable:

  • Push for a B20 Standard that will make 20% biodiesel blends the primary fuel for Illinois fleets.

  • Lead efforts to ensure efficient transportation of soybeans and soy products, including bond financing for infrastructure, aligning logistics companies’ and farmers’ goals, container-on-barge facilitation and rehab of soy-focused roads and bridges.

  • Advocate for farm and climate policies that address Illinois soybean farmers’ needs and allow you to have a seat at the table.

Educate.

For every legislator who understands agriculture and supports soybean issues, there is one who does not have experience with us and our industry. Even for those with an agricultural background, the rapidly changing landscape of the global market and production practices makes it challenging at best to stay up to date. That makes educating our legislators more vital than ever.

We want to ensure that our legislators not only listen but also help advocate issues in a way that benefits soybean farmers. If we don’t tell our story, who will?

Take Action.

When you make a contribution to the ISGPAC, you give a voice to every soybean farmer in the state of Illinois. No contribution is too small; every contribution makes a difference.

When you make a contribution of $100 or more to the ISGPAC you will receive a free lapel pin as a small token of our appreciation. When you make a donation of $250 or more you will become a member of the Challenge 250 Club and receive a hat and limited edition Challenge 250 Club pin to thank you for your support.
